Urban Armor Gear Composite iPhone 6 Case Review

Urban Armor Gear is an established name in smartphone cases that offer high-end protection. The UAG Aero for iPhone 6 is no exception. We tested the Aero (blue) but it is also available in Maverick (clear), Navigator (white), Scout (black), Outland (orange) and Valkyrie (pink).

The case is a high-end protective case that comes with a screen protector and a cleaning cloth. The sides of the case are fully covered. On the right side you can find the power and wake/sleep button under tactile feedback coverings. The coverings are well built and the button well is responsive. The same applies to the other side where you can find the volume buttons. On the Left side you can also find the opening for the silent/orientation switch.

The bottom area provides access to the speaker, headphone jack and Lightning port, but it is otherwise covered to the point that you won’t be able to dock your iPhone 6 when its in the case. It is also a bit difficult to get your phone out of the case but this sacrifice contributes to increased protection for your phone. The design also features two openings on the back that will allow dust, crumbs, etc. to get inside and contact the phone.

Verdict

Still, none of that takes away from the fact that the Urban Armor Gear composite iPhone 6 case is a great option for durable protection that doesn’t drastically add to the bulk of your new device.
