Steps to download iOS 11 beta on your iPhone (no developer account required)

339At this year’s WWDC, Apple officially announced the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 11 following months of rumors. iOS 11 introduces hundreds of new features to the operating system including a redesigned Control Center, Do Not Disturb While Driving, drag and drop for the iPad and much more.

iOS 11 is currently available as developer beta. This means that you need a developer account to test out iOS 11 new features. However, there is a simple workaround for downloading iOS 11 beta without the need for a developer account. That’s exactly what we are going to show you how to do in this post.

The process is pretty simple. All it takes is downloading the iOS 11 beta profile to your phone. Before we dive in, note that Apple is offering iOS 11 as a beta version. This means that you may experience some bugs and glitches. We recommend you make a full backup of your phone before trying to install the update.

Step one: First off, you need to open Safari on your iPhone and visit Apple’s Beta Download Center to proceed

Step two: Next up, hit the Download button in the middle of the screen

Step three: Once you are in, you now need to install iOS beta software profile on your iPhone. To do this, all you need to do is to tap on the Install button located at the top right corner of the screen

Step four: You will then be asked to enter your iPhone passcode. Once done, hit the Install button again in the top right corner and then tap on Install to confirm

Step five: Once you are done, you now need to tap on Restart. Once your phone finishes booting up, all you need to do now is to launch the Settings app from your home screen and hit General to proceed

Step six: On the next screen, tap on Software Update and you will see the iOS 11 developer beta profile. (If you don’t see the developer beta profile, try rebooting your phone). Tap on Download and Install at the bottom.
