Steps to add a Yahoo email account to the Mail app on Windows 10

Step 1: First off, you need to open Mail app on your computer and then hit the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of the app

Step 2: From the Settings panel on the right, you need to click on Manage Accounts and proceed with clicking on Add Account

Step 3: Next up, select Yahoo from the list of options. From the Sign in Page, all you need to do is to enter your Yahoo account and click Next to proceed

Step 4: Once you are done, type your email password and click Sign in. After that, allow the Mail app to access Yahoo contacts, Calendar, Mail and Profiles

Step 5: Hit Done to complete the task.

Steps to remove the Yahoo Mail app from your computer

If you still have the Yahoo Mail app on your computer, it’s best to uninstall it from your machine.

Step 1: Open Settings on your computer and then click Apps

Step 2: Next up, hit App & Features. After that, locate the Yahoo Mail app and un-install it

Step 3: Hit the Un-install button to complete the task.
