Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 hits Indian market

Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 is a smartwatch that goes big in a bid to dethrone the Apple Watch in the industry. This is an impressive timepiece that offers all the basic things nearly any other smartwatch out there can, but it comes with a much longer battery life, the high resolution OLED screen and GPS.

Samsung India today launched its latest smartwatches Gear S3 classic and Gear S3 Frontier in the country and the new wearable devices will be available for $428 from January 18. Previously, the Tizen-powered smartwatches went on sale in the US in November 2016.

Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 combines perfectly timeless watch design and high-end wearable technology including water resistance, dedicated app store, built-in speaker, making it one of the most desired smartwatches in the market and Samsung’s strategic plan to conquer the success of the Apple Watch. Both Gear S3 versions come with a 1.3 inch circular Super AMOLED display, dual-core processor, 768 GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.

The Classic Gear S3 sports an elegant look with its stainless steel body and circular buttons, making it one of the best smartwatches for the office and business meeting. The Frontier Gear S3, on the other hand, is more sporty thanks to its 3G/LTE capabilities and microphone for voice calls. One of the best things when it comes to Samsung Gear S series of smartwatches is its rotating bezel. With Gear S3, Samsung has made it even more useful; you now can rotate the bezel to answer or reject calls right from your wrist, eliminating the need to use your phone, but what makes the Gear S3 stand out is that it’s now open to third-party developers, meaning that you now can rotate the bezel to control more things with your watch.

Samsung Gear S3 now supports iOS platform thanks to new accompanying apps, meaning that you can pair your iPhone with one of Samsung’s wearable devices to track your fitness like route traveled, running pace, calories burned and heart rate.
