iPad Pro stock to be very limited

The iPad Pro is about to hit stores next month and supplies of the tablet will be very limited at first. A new report coming from China suggests that the tech giant doesn’t expect the iPad Pro to be a huge seller initially.

According to DigiTimes, Apple plans to ship less than 2.5 million iPad Pros in 2015 and even less in the first quarter of 2016. To give you an idea, Apple reportedly shipped 12 million units of the original iPad Air when it was released back in 2013.

The device is mainly focused on a pretty limited market of designers and architects. The starting price of the device is $799 (about £523) and doesn’t include the Smart Keyboard cover ($169 about £110) or the Apple Pencil ($99 – £65 ).

On the other hand, it is possible that the device could be an unexpected hit this holiday season. Only time will tell! Share your opinion with us in the comments section below!
