How to enable Night Shift mode in iOS 9.3

Night Shift is undoubtedly one of the most noticeable iOS 9 features. The new feature helps you get a good night’s sleep, as it automatically changes the colors of the screen to a warmer hue. According to tech experts, Night Shift is a long – waited feature for iPhone and iPad.

In reality, Night Shift is similar to f.lux, an app which has been available on Android and Windows for years. Basically, both Night Shift and f.lux help fight against eye fatigue by reducing the amount of blue light emitted by a display.

According to tech experts, iOS users now can adjust the color temperature of their displays to match the time of day, eliminating the need for third – party apps to be installed on users’ iOS devices. If you don’t know how to use this exciting feature, the following steps will help you.

If you want to turn on Night Shift mode, make sure that your iOS device is running Apple’s latest mobile software, iOS 9.3 and it must include one of the newer 64-bit processors, first introduced in the 2013 iPhone 5S. This means that older iOS devices that are running iOS 9.3 will not take advantage of the new feature.

Night Shift will work on the following newer devices that are eligible for iOS 9.3: iPad Air and above, iPad Mini 2 and above, and iPad Pro, iPhone 5s and above, iPod Touch 6G.

If your device is not running iOS 9.3, you can head to Settings> General> Software Update to update your device.

Great! Now all my photos will have the incorrect white balance when I view them in the evening.. Another useless feature that clutters up the crap UI of iOS. Why can’t apple do something more useful like better battery management; a proper appointment view in Month view of calendar, a better transaction history in ApplePay …
