Before we begin, make sure that you now have one live-photo image in the Photos app for Mac. If not, do it first. You can take a Live Photo using your iPhone’s camera and copy it into the Photos app for Mac.

Steps to play Live Photos in Photos app on your Mac

Step one: First off, you are supposed to launch the Photos app on your Mac and head to an album that contains at least a Live Photo

Step two: Next up, you simply need to double-click that Live Photo to open it. Once you are done, all you need to do is to hover the mouse cursor over that Live Photo to play the video portion of the photo on your Mac

That’s it! If you want to re-play a Live Photo, all you have to do is to move the cursor away and back over the picture again.

Steps to enhance a Live photo in Photos app on your Mac

Step one: You are now supposed to launch the Photos app on your Mac. Once you are in, select a Live Photo and double-click on it

Step two: Once you are done, click the Edit Photo button at the top-right corner of the screen and hit the Magic Wand at the top of the list.
