Google launches Google Photos with unlimited storage

Google today launched its unlimited photo and video service called Google Photos. Google Photos will be available today on Android, iOS and the web and offers free unlimited storage and photo editing service. The unlimited storage  comes with a small compromise, your photos will be downsized to 16-megapixels and your videos will need to be 1080p or lower. If you decide you want your photos and videos with their  original resolution you can still upload them but they’ll count towards your Google Drive storage limits.
