However, in this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to transfer data from Windows PC to MacBook Pro. Before we get started, make sure that you have your Mac connected to the PC. Here we go:

Steps to transfer data from Windows PC to MacBook Pro

Step one: Open Finder window on your Mac. After that, click on Applications and then double-click the Utilities Folder to proceed

Step two: Next up, all you have to do now is to click on Migration Assistant. Once you are done, click Continue. After that, you will be asked to enter your system password to proceed

Step three: You are now supposed to select From a PC to decide how you want to transfer your data. Once you are done, click Continue

Step four: On your PC, open the web browser and visit here to download Migration Assistant on your PC

Step five: Wait for the download to finish. Once it is done, open Migration Assistant on your PC. Now, it will try to connect with your Mac and make sure that the code you see on your PC is the same on your new Mac.

Step six: Select data you wish to transfer to your new Mac including Settings, files, folders and more. Once you are done, all you have to do is to click Continue and let the transfer process begin.
