Top 2018 Android Smartphones Under $300

Moto G6

While there are many great Android phones under $300, the Moto G6 is still our first recommendation. It’s an all-around phone without compromises. In addition, it only costs $250.

The Moto G6 features a huge 5.7-inch HD display with a brushed metal look, even though it’s made from plastic. From the back, the looks like a Galaxy S9, except for the big round camera lens. It’s equipped with an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a quite excellent12MP camera lens. While the rear camera can’t take photos like an iPhone XS or Pixel 3, but it’s nearly closed. However, it’s hard to beat the phone in terms of price.

Xiaomi Poco F1

At the end of 2018, we witness the king of budget phones, which is Poco-F1 from Xiaomi, also known as the PocoFone.

For only $300, you own a phone that rivals the Galaxy S9 Plus, OnePlus 6T, iPhone XR, and other Android phones released in late 2018. Some of its specs match $900 devices like the Galaxy Note 9, which is crazy.

You will get a phone with a 6.2-inch FullHD display, a powerful Snapdragon 845 SoC (also found on Note 9, Pixel 3 XL) along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes with a notch in the screen, but that’s not a problem. Perhaps the best part comes from the massive 4,000 mAh battery capacity inside. In terms of camera, you still get a decent rear-dual 12 and 5MP camera setup, along with the 20MP front-facing camera. Obviously, you might not get a Galaxy S9 Plus or iPhone XS experience, but for just $300, it sure looks and performs well enough.
